    Overview:
    This course is designed for system integrators, engineers and technicians who are new to Broadwin WebAccess software. It teaches basic SCADA and HMI topics like Graphics Building (DRAW), Symbols, Widgets, Animation, Database Configuration, Tags and Blocks, Device Driver configuration, Data Logging, Alarm Handling and Security. It also covers software installation, Web server basics (IIS) and customizing VIEW are Web browsers.

    Prerequisites:
    User level knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2000 or XP Professional is preferred. Familiarity with a Web browser, Windows 98 or NT 4.0 is a minimum requirement.  Familiarity with automation, control and your application would also be helpful. We highly encourage you spend some time to browse through the links in Training Reference Data. It will help you better understand WebAccess before the classes. We also recommend you bring your notebook computer for hands-on practice.
    (If you are interested in using your computer in the class as "SCADA Node" or "Project Node", please use Windows 2000 Professional or Windows XP Professional as your operating system. Project Node requires IIS option installed).
