Broadwin will be at the National Manufacturing Week March 3 - 6, 2003 in Chicago booth 4534.

National Manufacturing Week is North America's largest and most comprehensive conference and exhibition for new manufacturing equipment, products, components, systems and services. This year will feature over 1,200 exhibiting companies making it the biggest and most important event in the industry.

Broadwin WebAccess will be exhibited in the MOXA Networking, Inc. booth number 4534. Broadwin WebAccess SCADA software will use MOXA Networking Serial to Ethernet gateways to communicate with PLCs, Controllers and IO on AAEON Electronics' HMI Touch-panels and industrial PCs with animated Graphics, Trends, Email notification of Alarms, Text-to-Speech Alarm Notification, Video, and more.

Web browser software for HMI & SCADA - that works!

Our WebAccess HMI/SCADA software is consistently chosen over the competition for its ease-of-use, simplicity of integration and lower cost. And one more important feature: it actually works using just an ordinary web browser.

WebAccess is a unique solution from Broadwin in the field of industrial Automation and Control.

Using a standard Web-Browser (Internet Explorer 6.0 recommended), users can view and control automation equipment used in manufacturing facilities, industrial process plants, and building automation systems. Web Browser based engineering

Engineers and Technicians can configure the WebAccess Database and Build Graphics Remotely using a standard web browser.

Wireless Pocket PC - a "true" Thin Client

An ordinary Web Browser is all that is need to view and control. Unlike the competition, no software needs to be installed on the client to view the WebAccess Thin Client interface.

Others claim to have a 'thin client" but require special Terminal Emulation or other software to be installed on the client.

Although intended for use by PDAs, Pocket PCs, Tablet Computers and other handhelds, the thin client interface can be viewed by any computer using a Web browser that supports ASP (Active Server Pages). This makes the Thin Client Interface ideal for infrequent users unlikely to take the time to install the Plug-in or highly secure clients that restrict software installation on their clients.

Thin Client has been tested with the Compaq iPAQ series of pocket PCs.

The Thin Client interface supports wireless Ethernet, TCP/IP, firewalls, proxy servers, routers and Windows Integrated Security.
