Broadwin Technology Inc.
announced today a license agreement with Echelon Corporation granting
a worldwide right to market and promote WebAccess HMI and SCADA software
with the "LNS
POWERED by ECHELON" logo.
"With some of the
largest ECHELON technology based systems in the world, BroadWin WebAccess
has clearly demonstrated its capabilities in providing Human
Interface software for LNS and i.LON
100 based systems. The variety of Echelon interfaces
offered makes WebAccess the
ideal platform for Integrated Building Management
Systems." said Tom Carter, Product Marketing Manager of
Broadwin Technology. "With the acquisition of Tridium
by Honeywell in November 2005, BroadWin is now one of the few independent software suppliers in
building automation.”
Using a standard web-browser, users can view and control automation equipment used in manufacturing facilities, industrial process plants and building automation systems. Unique to
WebAccess, all configuration and deployment can be performed
remotely through a standard web browser including IO configuration, graphics building and remote software administration.
WebAccess is available for desktop computers and laptops running Windows
CE, 98, 2000, Server 2003, and Windows XP. Internet Explorer 6.0 supports all features of
