OMRON to distribute WebAccess HMI and SCADA software.

Agreement to supply sales, engineering and technical support for WebAccess
customers in the industrial automation and electronic control markets of Taiwan.

July 30, 2002 - San Ramon, California

Broadwin Technology Inc. announced today an agreement with Omron Taiwan System Electronics Inc. to provide sales, distribution, marketing, engineering and technical support of Web Access HMI and SCADA software for the industrial automation and electronic control components markets in Taiwan, Republic of China.  

WebAccess is the first fully web-browser based HMI and SCADA software for industrial automation.

Using a standard Web browser, users can view real-time data and control automation equipment used in manufacturing facilities and industrial process plants. Information is supplied with full motion animation.  Unique to WebAccess, all configuration, programming and development can be performed remotely through a standard web browser including database configuration, graphics building and remote software administration. WebAccess connects to industrial controllers and IO supplied by OMRON and other leading industrial automation manufacturers.

WebAccess is available for desktop computers and laptops running Windows 98/ME/2000/NT/XP. Internet Explorer 6.0 supports all features of WebAccess.
