"No user action is required to modify the new Windows Firewall in XP Service Pack 2."

Full Animation Client

WebAccess uses Active-X technology to provide real-time data, trends and full-animation graphics. The WebAccess Client is available for desktop computers and laptops running Microsoft 32-bit operating system including Windows 98, 2000 Professional, 2000 Server, XP Home, Server 2003 and XP Professional.

Thin Client

The Web Access thin client interface is compatible with on all 32-bit Microsoft Operating systems including Microsoft Windows CE, 95, 98, ME, NT 4.0, 2000, XP Home and XP Professional.

SCADA Node

WebAccess SCADA node software communicates in real-time with automation equipment via Serial, Ethernet or proprietary communications. WebAccess communications drivers are the fastest available and provide communications with a wide range of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Single Loop Controllers, Direct Digital Control Systems (DDC), Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and IO (input / Output) systems. The WebAccess SCADA Node software is available for desktop computers and laptops running Microsoft 32-bit operating system including Windows 2000 Professional, 2000 Server, Server 2003 and XP Professional.

Project Node

The WebAccess Project Node is an ordinary Web Server using Microsoft IIS (Internet Information Server), a standard option in Windows 2000 Professional, 2000 Server, Server 2003 and XP Professional.

Remote Software Administration

Broadwin WebAccess, combined with Microsoft XP Professional  or Server 2003, provides a complete solution for remote software administration.  Users can view and control from any remote location.  User can completely configure both the Web Access software and the control system hardware. This Web-enabled solution allows users to remotely engineer, monitor and control over their network or via the Internet using a standard PC and web browser. Data is displayed in real-time with dynamically updated graphics using full motion animation.

Web browser-based engineering

The unique feature which distinguishes WebAccess from the competition is that all engineering, database configuration, graphics building and software administration can be performed using a standard web browser. This makes WebAccess fully browser based, not an add on to some traditional HMI package. Web Access enables engineers, integrators and control systems vendors to support their systems remotely over an intranet or the Internet using an ordinary web browser.
