Broadwin Technology Inc. announced the opening of a China branch office in
Shanghai (www.broadwin.com.cn). The office is part of the company’s wholly owned
subsidiary Broadwin Technology (Shanghai), Inc. The office will support the Asian and local China markets for BroadWin’s HMI and SCADA software used in industrial and building automation systems. The office includes sales, marketing, technical support and engineering personnel.
Frank Lin, president, Broadwin Tecnology, Inc., said: “We have recently completed a number of successful projects in China, and the opening of this office will enhance our local capability. We expect demand for automation software to continue to grow rapidly in China, driven by strong industrial development and infrastructure build-out.”
To date WebAccess HMI systems have been installed at major Water Treatment and Electric Power facilities in China.
Using a standard Web-Browser, users can view and control automation equipment used in manufacturing facilities, industrial process plants and building automation systems. Unique to WebAccess, all configuration and deployment can be performed
remotely through a standard web browser including IO configuration, graphics building and remote software administration.
WebAccess is available for desktop computers and laptops running Windows
CE/98/ME/2000/2003/XP. Internet Explorer 6.0 supports all features of
WebAccess.
